River to Sea Loop Nature & History Corridor Phase 1

The St Johns River to Sea Loop Alliance has delivered the first signpost for the River to Sea Loop Nature & History Corridor. It's stocked with a very limited number of preliminary Loop trail maps of SW Volusia and lots of Alliance postcards and River of Lakes Brochures. Maggie Ardito (President of St Johns River to Sea Loop Alliance) and Cindy Sullivan (Executive Director of Enterprise Presentation Society and River of Lakes Heritage Corridor) show the sign with brochures. Thanks to REI Co-op for the grant to support this effort and City of Deltona for additional support, and to Bill Reagan of Reagan Custom Homes for production and installation, to Linda Brandt of BrandtRonat+Co for graphic design and artwork, and to Volusia County for the location.   The sign is on the corner of Jacob Brock and DeBary Avenue in Deltona.

A Story Map of the Nature & History Corridor can be seen here.

There are lots of people out enjoying the Loop today.

Who knows where the NEXT kiosk will be?   The Alliance has applied for another grant from REI to continue this project.
